Debra Levy Neimark Scholarship Scholarship Fund
The Debra Levy Neimark Scholarship was created to honor a members legacy and her commitment to NAWBO. Debra Levy Neimark was an appellate attorney, a civic-minded volunteer and an active member of the NAWBO. When she passed away tragically at the young age of 33, her husband Cort, together with her fellow members of the Fort Lauderdale NAWBO chapter, established a charitable trust in her memory. The Scholarship began helping young women pursue college degrees and vocational training in 1989.
Each year, the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County NAWBO Chapter in conjunction with the Broward Community Foundation and Broward Community College awards scholarships to two female students pursuing a degree in higher education. The scholarships are awarded for academic excellence, financial need, and community involvement.
This fund is supported by our monthly raffle drawings. All raffle prizes are donated by our members. You can help a deserving student pursue a dream by purchasing your raffle tickets and/or by donating a raffle prize.
